EMO WUSS'S POETRY

if i found the rarest gem,
it would not compare to you,
for you are my diamond in the rough.
if i saw the brightest star,
it would not be as bright as you.
if i found the sweetest sounding bird,
i would think of your voice,
and if were to find complete purity,
i would find it in you.

What makes time such an important invention? Why do we allow time to control our lives? Since when have our jobs become more important than our loved ones? Money is the greed of man. Money separates each and every individual by social classes and importinence. There's a kid in my school that I truley disdain - he places a price on others. We are NOT for sale. What gives him the right to base a human's worth upon a monetary number? ...back to another human invention. The sad thing is - that kid's not the only person putting a price on another's life...capitalist bastards. That's why I like Christmas...everyone seems to love each other. Yeah, seems, the truth is...Christmas is just a mask, a disguise. And when you think about it, Christmas now is based almost solely on presents...more money. Damnit, you can't even seem to write a worth-while sentence including money, or worth, or value. That's why I think the human race is on the brink of disaster, we are killing ourselves. It's not going to be overpopulation, or disease, or harmful chemicals, or the depletion of the natural resources that kill us...none. It's going to be our own greed...war, a war fought over money. We're not going to have to worry about the sun exploding, killing us all, we're already going to be gone by then, grotesque, but true.
